In terms of graphics I was very pleasantly surprised. It makes a good manga/comic reader just because the lines (and more importantly the curves) come out so clearly. Interesting thing about pictures though, I took the same jpeg and wrapped it in PDF form, thinking that since PDF has zoom, reading the page would be better. Turns out, zipping the picture in a cbz somehow makes the same image, which was kinda faded looking in PDF form, really sharp in cbz, sharp enough that you don't need zoom for the most part.
Tablets are still the best hands down at reading most PDFs, but after reading on the Touch, I can see possibilities about how it can excel. It's a lot easier on the eyes, which makes it a great study tool. I've been toying with the idea of formatting rtfs so that they act like flash cards on the go since a tablet is too bulky to carry around, and it's not very good under the sun (adam included).
