Okay...now I'm deeply confused. So I have 3 SD cards. They're all exactly the same brand and class. They all work on the card reader, so the computer can see the contents of all of them. However, 2 of the three cards can't be detected by the Kobo touch. The last one, however, works.

Why?

The only conceivable difference I can think of is that there's some type of boot record in the very first memory space of the SD cards that get messed with depending on what program formats them. In which case, how would one restore that record to its original, off-the-shelf condition?

Damn you invisible technology pixies!

Also I went to the store, the same SD cards don't work.
