Thanks Kovid for the answer, one last question:

I have made all the changes and it worked GREAT! Was able to fetch news from a few places using the combo of iTunes and Calibre.

Now, when I plug in my Kindle to download books again, do I have to change the settings back to .mobi? Or leave the settings as is and Calibre will know to send .mobi files to Kindle?

Just curious as to whether I will have to go back and forth between epub for the iPad2 for periodicals and .mobi for Kindle. Thanks again.
