When you start the 'Create Catalog' there is the "e-book Options" tab.
Depending on your selections, the catalog can have 1 or more sorted sections. New, Author, Title, Series

Sort by Description?
Did you mean: Comments section?
How would tat be meaningful sorted? That section is free-form.
