Not totally correct.

If I buy from B&N I pay taxes here in Texas. If I buy from Amazon, I do not. So the listed price can be the same, but you end paying more if you buy a B&N ebook. Now, imagine you are buying several expensive books, now that difference gets bigger and at the end of the year you probably have paid hundreds of dollars only in taxes, which is not true for Kindle users.
