If need by, I can remove the DRM. So far, I haven't felt the need.

And then I'll change. In the meantime Amazon have a large selection of cheap books I'm happy to read. These arguments all apply to Adept DRM books too, and I'm more comfortable being tied to Amazon than Adobe.
I'm not saying that the current situation is ideal. But neither is the sky falling in. I'm not going to get all in a tizzy about 99c eBooks.
