Ok, this is interesting. The system is scaling images to 723x540. I put in an image at 723x540, and the system scales it to the same size. I put in an image at 722x539, and the system scales it to 723x540. This does not seem right.
If I follow the code right, it calls "fit_image", but fit_image would not scale the image in either of these cases.

I wouldn't normally care about it scaling my GIF to the same size as it starts out, but I took a some effort reducing the size of the GIF (by making it 4 colour), and the scaling step neatly increases my image size threefold.

Is there some way to turn scaling off? Or for it to not scale an image at all if it's at the right size?
