lestatar i was disappointed with the movie, but had low expectations to start as there is no way that a movie could have gotten in all of the subplots and twists of the book.

my biggest disappointment however was that the movie left out the coup de grace twist of the book, which is imo an all time classic courtroom scenario.

i also thought that marky mark was a very poor choice for the swagger character.

i badgered my wife into reading "point of impact" -- she resisted for a long time, saying she had no interest in a "guy book all about guns and shooting."

she ended up loving it, and lent it to several of her girl friends who loved it, also.
