I felt "61 Hours" was sort of a low point in the series and "Worth Dying For" was only slightly better.
Not a big spoiler but - Reacher is "Mr. prepared." His mental alertness, quick thinking, and foresight are some of his greatest strengths. The thought that he'd travel through the midwest in winter without proper clothing is unacceptable. And the ending, with the short drug lord... seriously?
"Worth Dying For" made my head hurt in at least two places. How badly hurt does Reacher have to be before he won't charge off in the night to protect a lady's honor? Dead, I guess. And then there was a Keystone Cops sequence in the middle (driving to and from the hotel) where coincidences and timing were stacked too high. Some I'll accept. That many, presented as a sequence, made my eyes glaze until it was over.
