We didn't get to hear much about her Church kick over here, though I did know she'd written a number of Bible based books, which did give me pause. She just seems to have gone through a number of significant shifts in her writing (erotica, vampires, witches, biblical, who-knows-what-else) and you have to wonder what is going on in her personal life.
