These two things, combined with the lack of browser, is why I won't be getting this new Nook (despite the initial enthusiasm).
I was beginning to wonder if my eyes were extra sensitive because the flash of the page turn totally made me blink a few times when I looked at the display unit. I think it would just be too distracting if I was actually in the middle of reading something.

If they fix this flashier flash on page turn and the ghosting I will buy one. I'm going to hold off for now though.
