I had a similar problem. From time to time my PB360 would not recognize the SD Card and the solution would be to take out and reinsert the card while the PB360 is still on. When it is recognized it worked OK for some time. I never tried your solution.
I tried reformatting the card in the card reader and in the PB360, but this never worked for long. I had Kingston 8 GB micro SD card. A friend of mine who is a computer expert told me that it might be the problem with the SD card speed. I bought Kingston 4GB micro SD card, Class 4, formatted it while in PB360 and so far I have no problems (knock on wood ). That was two weeks ago, so I do not know if this is solution and if its going to help you, but if you can get a faster micro SD card and try it maybe it will help.

Best of luck!
