I downloaded this book a couple of weeks ago and have finally had a chance to read it. Excellent book! I have to say that in the last half of the book I had decided 2-3 times that I would have to quit and definitely not continue the book (or series) because it was so dark at places. But the writing was so good I made myself continue. The ending just about did me in and honestly, if there hadn't been a preview of the second story included, I might have decided to quit with this book. But the preview has pulled me in! So, although I think I need to read a couple of light, humorous books (!) I will be back to get the second and third book in the series.

And on a totally unrelated note, I was dumb enough to try to watch "Black Swan" after reading this. I only got about 30 minutes in the movie before I had to give up and save that for another day!
