It's obvious from this and the Kindle vid that whatever launcher/apps are to work on here, they have to be totally no frills/NO animations.

One homescreen, No turning or transition animations. Basic reading and turn based gaming apps. (Email, Aldiko/FBReader, Notes, Chess, etc)... Not to mention Big Icons.

Gotta love open source. I am so thankful that BN chose Android for these devices.
