I think it's definitely worth a go. Elderflowers are out all over the place at the moment. Anyone else tried making elderflower cordial?

 Unluckily, they are all gone now here, maybe they are in bloom in the mountains. If I knew that it was so good and so easy to prepare, I would have done much more. Next year. Yes the fragrance is quite powerful. Compared to a high price commercial one it has a subtle but distinct lemony twist. 
I put the sodium benzoate to avoid yeast fermentation. That is why I put it in the freezer in plastic bottles.
