An ex-GF turned me onto them years ago - I recall it was considered initially as a "chick" drink, but I am secure in my masculinity so I don't care.

But thank you! It is a very nice drink. Of the family of the
sidecar. I mix one for my wife every Sunday. With wodka instead of brandy.like yours, they call it Balalika in this part of the world. Very fine drink. With tequila it becomes a Margarita, and with gin a White Lady.
