No, the point is the Amazon dongle charger -- which came included with the Kindle 2 for Canada and which is shipped in the US but not to Canada for the Kindle 3 -- is an additional $20 ($10 if you happen to notice it on checkout with the original order) for Canadian shipments.
As much as I like Amazon, it continues to treat its northern neighbour as a poor cousin. And, in this case, I was just wondering if the locally purchased Kindle had the charger ... that would at least justify a slightly higher retail price.
I use Blackberry chargers (mini and micro USB, depending on Kobos, Kindles or Kobo Touch) instead of computer charging. It's easy, quick, and simple for travelling (where I don't bring a laptop).
