Actually I did look with a magnifying glass. Indeed I could see a difference between say a "p" in one area of the screen vs one in another area (but I don't mean that the poor letters are always in the same area - it varies all over). Maybe I can take a closeup with my DSLR that can show it. Kind of hard, but at least eink photographs nicely, so maybe I can do it...
