Hmm... as a developer I only see challanges not problems. AES, 256bit encryption is very secure and not hard to use at all, even if you don't control the server you could make sure the number never escapes SLL envelope in the clear.

Hmm... only you can answer that question... is there? I guess if you are getting 100 or more orders a month then it is. Perhaps you can get to the point where you get 100 orders a week!
