The primary reason is credit card security. Currently NAEB does not see the full credit card number and does not store it. To accomplish what you are suggesting would require us first to do an authorize on the card, to make sure you have the funds available, then store your complete credit card information and re-charge you when we ship. In order to provide the level of security I would want for that type of situation I would need a dedicated server I have complete control over. That in turn raises our maintenance costs, which raises the price we have to charge.
On the more practical side, if we can't turn 100 units in 30 days, is there a large enough market to support what we are trying to do?
