For me, it would have to be the Chronicles of Narnia by C S Lewis. I'm obsessed with that series. I pretty much treat it like a Bible. I don't read it from front to back though; every time I feel like I'm in the mood for a good pick me up, I always pick it up, flip to any page that strikes my fancy, and just read. And it's just so refreshing!

I can't really explain why I love it so much. It just sucks you in. It's like opening a cupboard and finding a completely new world in there. It's always a joy to re-experience that sense of wonder again. Even as an adult (and it's supposed to be a kid's book), I still find it as beautiful as ever.
