Actually, it looked like every time she opened up a book the camera was turned on and off to wait for it to open...very strange. If you look at the demo videos from the Kobo official release, the books seem to take quite some time to open. Then David Pogue in his NYT review of the BN and Kobo touch devices said the Kobo was noticeably slower (and he had a great line, that the quilted Kobo back looks like a queen size mattress for hamsters).
