Thank you, boxcorner, for sharing the sad news. I enjoyed Lilian Jackson Braun's cats and characters, and her depiction of small town life.

Maybe it's time to revisit The Cat Who . . . and see how it ended.

I have a bunch of the paperbacks lying around, but light mysteries are more fun on an ereader: I'll have to seek them out!
