I wasn't interested in an ereader, till last year. I like the smell of rotting pulp, which one reason I prefer old comics.
I got reading books on my ipod about late 2009, because it was hard to rock my sons and hold a large book. Not to mention the light bothered my younger son. I found I liked reading on it, but I like books too. I was happy to read on my ipod for awhile, because its so easy to carry around. Plus all the separate book stores were easy with the ipod.
Alas I have no free bookcase space yet again. I am reading more and more on my ipod too. Two book cases are taken over by my kids books. Seriously can kids have to many books? My books keep getting moved to the attic or garage sale. It was time to make the switch. I decided a couple of months ago to start looking into it.
Yeah I am still looking. I loved the Sony's but they were expensive and I didn't have the money at the time. I bought a Kobo, which i really liked. I decided that I did need a dictionary function for all my books though. I returned that and was waiting for the new Nook to be announced. I hated the old nook. Not happy with some issues with the nook touch, but liked the form factor a lot. Surprised to see the new Kobo touch announced also, currently waiting for that to be released to see the reviews. I am glad they kept the quilted back. So close to just preordering the Kobo. Might wait for the new Kindle later this year just to see or maybe Sony will come out with an announcement.
