Hello from Washington

I didn't even really think to introduce myself before, because I've been here before. Though that was my alter-ego and it was awhile back.

I started out with an ebookwise, then I had a Jet Book, then I had a Sony Reader, and now I've just been using Calibre.

I had 2 ebookwise, and I loved them dearly. They worked great, were easy to load, and they lasted a long time on a single charge. Neither one broke from natural causes... I had a bad habit of stuffing my reader in my jacket pocket. The first one broke while I was running across the street back to work from Starbucks. The second one broke when I dropped it on the mantrap floor at work. Hard cement + plastic casing= cracked screen.

I had the Jet Book for like two days, then I was driving cross country with my nephew and niece. While we were at a rest stop, my niece knocked it in between the seat. When I sat back up and pulled my seat forward, I heard a "crunch" and that was the end of that. (I was mad about the money, but I wasn't too pleased with the reader in the first place.)

My Sony... ah, my Sony... I have no idea what went wrong there. Half the screen goes all crazy. It is now a paperweight.

Now I've just been using Calibre and it's doable.

I really wanted a BeBook, I'm thinking about a Kindle, and I'm very envious of my dad's Nook Color.

Anyways, I've always come to take a peek at mobileread if I've had any ebook related problems. So Thank You for being here
