Of course, I only try free apps. Some work, some don't.
If you want to be scientific, or if there's something you really need/want, try searching this forum. People have made copious lists of apps that work well on the eDGe. You can follow in their footsteps.

Many times you will find a link to a download site that works for that app, but if you don't, try googling the name of the app plus "apk" and see if you find a way to download what you want.
