Tried some PDFs on the eeenote. After getting used to it, I have to say it is not too bad. It accepted all PDFs without a problem and turning pages are fast.
The fonts are a bit more blurry than on the Edge and of course smaller, but readability is not that bad. I don't like to read PDFs on the Edge because the fonts are usually not bold enough for me.
Zooming in on the eeenote will give better readability, but it will not re-size and reflow the PDF. A part of the screen will be outside the visible area and needs to be dragged into the visible area to view it.
On the eeenote one big advantage is that when you zoom in on the PDF dragging is pretty fast and that makes it a more comfortable alternative than on the edge.
Annotating works good, only a similar problem as with the edge. You can zoom in and annotate, but the annotation will only be visible on that zoom level later.
Landscape mode on the eeenote is disappointing, it doesn't reflow the PDF so it is basically the same view as portrait and the only option you have is to zoom in.
