Someone has just started a thread with a program they've created to merge annotations on a pdf with the original pdf as layers:

Journal notes from scratch are currently saved as "a graphics file" (apparently .gif with a relatively large resolution). Someone else writes: "The .nte files that you get when exported to your computer can be renamed to .cab and then opened. You'll finde the pages of the note as .gif images. Is there a known way to convert it? I could send the notes to Evernote and convert to PDF."
And, I did read it syncs with Evernote one way - your files can be uploaded to Evernote, but not reverse. As the reviewer writes: "The evernote app doesn't really exist in the eee note. It is more of a button that asks you do you want to upload this to evernote and that is it."
Also reports that other tablet pc pens with erasers work, including the eraser.
