While I understand less than stellar feelings about Win7, having used it on a tablet (the Asus eee slate) for a month now, I can only tell you that it's great!!!! The key things are that it is pen-driven (wacom active digitizer), not touch, and that it's a powerful machine (i5 with 4gb ram). Touch driven win7 stinks (I have it on my now-un-used Toshiba libretto). The major factor is an adequately powered machine. It's just fantastic. The downside of the Asus is that it's slightly too big and too heavy (1 kg).
