Received my eeenote yesterday from Taiwan.
Updated the firmware, set language to English and installed additional features and software I downloaded here

First impression: If you like the journal abilities of the EE you will love the eee note.

Eeenote (+)

Almost no delay during writing. EE is not bad but has a bit more delay.
Browsing in the sun, try that with your EE

Size and weight more suited to note taking
Lots of note taking templates
A lot of developers already hacking the device.
Screen is faster, so not only usable for reading but also for games etc.
boots very fast and it will last for 10 days keeping it standby (instant start)

EE has better view with less perfect light conditions. It is like recycled paper (eeenote) vs bleached paper(EE)
No android
No double screen and no color screen.

Will have a look at the reader capabilities later.
