I hope that you get a good tech support result on the EE and the PE stays healthy -- and that this doesn't become a horrible broader trend. It's no biggie for me: I haven't had the new gadgets long enough to get deeply attached to them, and I have no intention of putting any irreplaceable data on them until we see how everything shakes out with the Ermine issues. But a lot of you veteran users have so much more invested -- I hope everyone can export or print or e-mail the mission-critical items, just in case.
