I too work in IT and I have to say I wish some of my fellow technicians where I am would take a lesson! for anyone else reading this, I can wholeheartedly corroborate that this update so far for me, has been worth it. While happy with the functionality of the device as it was originally purchased for its strengths, it does indeed feel great to see the little guy zipping about in his new programming "threads"! Do the update if you are on the fence, it has been well worth it, and you have a witness, THIS article will lead you to the Tasty Froyo goodness (such as it is currently) on your POCKET EDGE as it claims!

Just a quick note, my Edge has been living off line for months, Never had email or any web services installed or run on it, and very little else, only programs that helped me, most of which came on the unit so while not stock, it is not far from it. I am Neck deep in a huge project (the reason I bought one) and there is a LOT riding on the outcome and my performance in particular. So with all this riding on the little guy, yes, I did go right ahead and installed Beta software on it. and you know what? I do not regret it one bit (so far!)
