Last week-end I held a Discussion Group with graduating doctors. This was part of my research, but I wasn't very sure about how to proceed without an assistant, for the note-taking, recording, observation and all, as there was no one available to help me on Sunday evening.
Then I thought, well, let's have the Edge pay off and jump to the ring.
So I was there surrounded by my group members, all computer-savvy people, and flashed my EE out.
I opened a Journal, created a Journal file, opened the Audio Recorder in the tablet side, and starting taking down fluid 8 pages of handwritten notes while the Audio Recorder was capturing the whole 98-minutes session, and I didn't have to do anything but open the app and hitting Play. No audio configurations, plain simple and effective.
They were absolutely dumbfounded. "Wow! How come? Does thing ALSO record audio? What do I have to do to get one of this?" and the expected like.
So I also agree that seeing the Edge in action worths a thousand posts for many people, and when they see it, they "get the whole thing" in a glimpse.
I later checked the audio file, and it was saved in the Library in good condition. I didn't know beforehand if it would support such a long recording, but it did and it saved the day for me.
