Hello, I'm new. I've been waiting to buy a PE until there was an official Android update, and then saw the forum posts about the trouble and have continued waiting to see what happened because I didn't want to buy one and have the company go away. Currently bidding on an EE on eBay and intend to buy a PE from Amazon next paycheck. I have an idea of something that might help - it's something I wish existed, especially since the Entourage webpage was pared down: YouTube videos of real users, not company-paid people, demonstrating what they use their EE or PE for and how. I just want one so I have ONE device to take on trips, for reading, so I can read during daylight with eInk and have backlight instead of a lamp at night with the same document, just by moving it from one side of the device to the other. When I watch users talk about note taking on the eInk side, I'm confused how that works but am intrigued with the possibilities of proof-editing pdfs. Highlighting? How does one do that in eInk when it's greyscale? What are the professional uses for the device, and what are the possibilities? The academic? Etc. The forums have answered some questions but video demonstrations/tutorials would be better. Then, once they're on YouTube, maybe get an article submitted to BoingBoing or Engadget? It's a way to get the word out.

I do wish Entourage would take more interest in releasing the SDK/code for app development if the devices can't have access to Android Marketplace. I'm holding out hope that they're searching for venture capital and keeping the code under wraps to have exclusive product for investors.
