I purchased a 7-inch Android MID tablet from Hong Kong on eBay - it was brand new for $150. It had GPS, accelerometer, Bluetooth, 801b/g Wifi, HDMI-out, sensitive touch pad, and works well with Android Market. It makes me think that those components (if the Edge is being constructed in China) couldn't be THAT much more expensive. The only bad thing about that tablet was the battery life - and it is horrible.
If those things could be included in an eDGe II (together with a better camera and 4G), there would be no question who's king of the hill. eDGe II, undisputed heavyweight king of tablets.
(After re-reading the above, I suppose I'm not asking for much: better camera, 4G, GPS, accelerometer, . . . Granted, a classroom tablet wouldn't need those things, but I think people today might be spoiled [like myself] expecting to have it ALL.)
