I have tried it. I worked fine on my EE (just a disclaimer).

I updated to Froyo but the older apps were being weird. I just backed up my entire library on my PC (since it was on an SD card) and used the golden update to revert to Dingo 1.11. Just followed instructions (waiting 20 mins etc). No issues.

After reverting to 1.11, I did a clean install of Froyo. So far I am loving it. I even got the official You Tube app installed on it. The new email is great. There is now a setting for HTTP proxy. Most of the apps that work on Samsung Galaxy S work on EE now; except the Adobe reader. Even Opera 11 (not the mini) works fine.
Have not tried any games yet.

And boy the interface is super fast and responsive..
