I opted for the beta version, my library is still there, I guess, I didn't actually open any books. The reason I say actually open, is because when I tried to open the angry birds apparently from Amazons app store, my edge froze up, as did I. After a few thousand seconds, of sheer terror, I took out the battery, then it rebooted itself. So buyer beware, I'm going to now go back too my library and double check it.
