I can say that I left my Edge powered on the whole day (24 hours since update) and "resumed it a lot of times (at least 20) without any issue. I had to remove the battery once because I freezed the e-ink side trying to annotate a huge pdf file.

Strange we don't experience the same issues with the same hardware ...
