I absolutely agree. The planet is not disposable.
Why should we live on the premise that everything else should be, and the more disposable, the more efficient? (Has anyone seen "The story of stuff" in the web?)

This is self-criticizing, of course. I handwashed my elder children linen diapers when they were babies, and then turned to disposable diapers with the younger ones. (Sigh)

This forum has been busy with a **** of developments recently, so I doubt there is room now to think of developing a Good Practices Guide to Eventual Edge Disposal, or thinking of a Planet-Friendly Edge Batteries and Devices Cemetery.
But just for the records...
