Hi, Alex_edge!
I am also in love with my EE, which I also bought used as new and arrived less than one month ago!
May I offer a suggestion?
Try SugarSync instead of Dropbox. Advantages? 1) They give you 5Gb for free instead of just 2Gb. 2) They give you 500 MB more if you refer just one person. 3) You can choose ANY folder in your HD to be synchronized, so you don't have to create a MyDropbox folder. 4) You can use a dedicated download function which allows automatic downloading of attachments in your email inboxes to a SugarSync folder (this can really be convenient for work files).
It works very well with the Edge, as long as you have wifi or mifi access. You simply keep your important files in your SugarSync and download from the Edge what you need to read or annotate there.
I have seen that it is much more practical to keep my full libraries in SugarSync and have "everything" available on demand from my Entourage Edge. (Just my academic library, without literature or fiction books, is 4Gb, so you see how convenient this is)
I have SugarSync synched with my laptop, desktop and EE.
Think of it. I am using SugarSync daily for my library, and I have emptied my Dropbox account to have it available for sync of other kind of files.
Have fun!
