Well, I picked up the travel case and the sleeve case (the one that fully encloses the Kindle). Both are very well made. I also got the M-Edge cover (also nice). I wanted something I could stick the Kindle in (by itself or with a cover - which the travel case is specifically designed for) along with the charger and usb cable when I travel. I also wanted an alternative to just carrying the kindle around by itself (the sleeve case was more of a 'try it' sort of thing), but since I like to have the option of using a book light, I'll probably leave it in the m-edge cover. The travel case (I got it in Red) is definitely quite nice. If anybody wants some more pictures (and if I can figure out how to upload here), I can post some.
As for the M-Edge cover, it's definitely nicer than the stock cover 'overall', but I must admit I like the stock cover better for one-handed reading as it's stiffer and sticks out on the left hand side when the cover is folded back. The m-edge folds more or less flat so there isn't really a convenient place to grab it with my left thumb. I've only read with it on one day though so it may just take some getting used to. I also wish there was more screen protection like the stock cover's padded screen protection.
Back to the waterfield bags, if you like using the Kindle without a cover, I can absolutely recommend the waterfield sleeve case or travel case (for tossing in an overnight bag while keeping everything organized). I don't really get the point of their 'slip' case though. :\
