Even my Fujitsu TabletPC was bad for this (the stylus was just plastic - it was just a regular touch screen and you could use anything on it). I'd be writing and the heel of my hand would touch somewhere and I would get a HUGE LINE from the pen tip to my hand, connected as part of the stroke. This happened often enough that I knew any future machine I'd choose would be one with a wacom stylus again, like my original Acer Travelmate.
