I can see the employees being hush regarding a possible buyout. In the long run a buyout by a big company could potentially be good for the Edge as a device, because more R&D $'s can go into it to help make it an awesome device. The downside is that often currently existing customers get abandoned. If there is a buyout I hope that at least we can get the Froyo update and landscape, etc. added for the eInk side. Oh, and they still should keep the ability for us to activate the Adobe DRM for the device.
