I've wanted a decent letter sized technical pdf reader for years. I'd like a reader that is light and reasonably portable, but since I would use it mostly at home, it wouldn't need to be made for jet setting around the country. Nothing I've tried has really worked to replace the paper version of my tech books. I hope that some sort of reader will become available in the near future. I'd buy one if it is somewhat affordable and would handle technical books, manuals, newspapers and magazines. I'd like color because so many illustrations that accompany manuals use color, magazines use color, and so do newspapers, but I'd probably try a first generation black and white if it had a larger screen and could handle the other stuff that I mentioned.
