I loved Twidroyd (the company/software formerly known as Twidroid) when it first came out. Now it's sluggish, and I find it easier to tweet on my Blackberry. And given that they were recently indicted and jailed by the twitter police for copyright infringement, I'm not sure if they are the best bet for the long term. Search for the legacy version of the apk, which works with donut, the version of Android currently running on the eDGe. I think I still have the APK somewhere, if you can't find it, let me know and I'll drop it to you.
