3G/4G USB modems *do* work with the eDGe. enTourage has a KB article for AT&T 3G USB modems here: http://www.entourageedge.com/forums/...urage-Dualbook.

Another user recently indicated the following works, too:

One thing is to remove the PIN code on the modem SIM card as this prevents the eDGe from using it.
