Glad to hear you're safe. I waited in suspense for a day, not hearing from two friends in Tokyo. They're far south of the devastation but were having trouble reaching people by phone. With the most recent news reports and the latest (today's) quake, however, I'm starting to wonder if I should roll out the sofa bed for them--assuming they could get out.
It's a very particular kind of horror to watch helplessly while people suffer.
Hope this latest quake and the radiation troubles steer clear of you and yours.
