Most regular users of the edge are pretty happy with the device. I'm happy with the EE I have, more so than with the Iliad, or would have been with some other tablet/reader thing. The forums tend to attract people who are more technically inclined, power users, developers, and the like. So, there is a disproportionately greater sense of grumpiness expressed in the forums (over SDK and OS versions) than the average feeling/experience for most regular users.
