As for keyboards, it depends just how portable you need it to be. When I first got my edge, I grabbed an old USB monster of a keyboard lying around and it was wonderful to use. For fitting in my airplane carryon, I wanted something smaller and on the suggestion of a thread here ended up with one that looks like the Mac keyboards, just about the same size as the edge. That's a neat option because as in the last picture below, I can fold the e-ink side under, lay the keyboard in front, and it actually looks like a mini computer.
