I don't think most of us are complaining about the weight of the EE, we are just saying it would be nice if it were a little slimmer and lighter. I think with as far as technology has advanced and continues to do so at a rapid rate it is not an unreasonable request for a future hardware release.
As for now, I, as I am sure most other EE users are, am perfectly happy with my 3lb EE.
